Bryan Rhodes has been providing innovative solutions to private sector and development clients for over 15 years. Bryan utilizes his extensive experience as an investment analyst and management consultant to inform practical solutions to complex market and political development challenges. His technical specializations include value chain analysis and improvement, public-private partnerships, small and medium enterprise development, financial analysis, access to finance, and policy advocacy. 


Bryan utilizes analytical tools and methodologies developed during a ten-year career advising Fortune 500 companies and investment groups such as Bank of America, Deutche Bank, Disney Co., the Howard Hughes Company, MGM/Mirage, the Pritzker Group (Hyatt Hotels) and the Carlyle Group.  Such tools include discounted cash flow analysis, demand modeling, return on investment analysis, market opportunity analysis, and inclusive business models. Recent projects include the design of a Water Fund for Central America, market linkage development of high-value crops such as coffee, cocoa, and passion fruit, and staple crops such as rice, maize, beans and cassava. He has also worked in the livestock sector in Afghanistan, India, Zimbabwe, and Nicaragua.


After graduating from UCLA with a Master’s Degree in Political Economy, Bryan spent five years in Afghanistan leading USAID-funded agribusiness and small and medium enterprise development projects. His development experience includes South and Central Asia, Latin America, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.  He speaks English and Spanish.
